We are a group of people with a strong background in the social sector who firmly believe that everyone has a heart to give, but they do not come forward due to their own financial commitments. So, we don’t demand anything from you, rather we gratefully accept your contribution and put it to its best use.
At First Life Trust, we aim to change the whole ‘giving ecosystem’ to make it more donor-centric rather than NGO-centric. We don’t consider the donated amount as the yard stick to judge your act of kindness. We appreciate your willingness and your generous heart that wants to spread as much happiness as possible. So, we give you this platform to express your happiness by sharing it with those who are a little less privileged than you.
First Life Trust is involved in a number of relief programs for the betterment of the lives of poor Indian children. The Trust takes up appropriate measures and adopts suitable programs for rehabilitating people in different circumstances. Relief India Trust plays an important part in protecting the global environment as well. A lot of awareness is created amongst the Indian people on deadly diseases like AIDs, Cancer, HIV, etc. for which camps are set up and run all over the country from time to time.
Distribution of Free Medicines
The poor and needy children are distributed free medication in the relief programs offering medicine. It has been decided that in future too, people will be provided with free services. The needy and the poor in rural India are also provided with medical and surgical treatment. This free of cost treatment is provided by a small team of medical volunteers at First Life Trust.
Distribution of Clothes and Food
Where programs for food relief are carried out, blankets and clothes are also distributed by this NGO, free of cost. You can check out the photos on the website to get an idea. Many of the poor children come in old shorts and some have hardly any clothing to wear. Clothes and Food provided by First Life Trust.
Aids and HIV Relief
To address issues related to AIDs and HIV support programmes are offered in a full range. In financial management and results of the programs, the NGO designs, evaluates and manages comprehensive prevention of HIV, support programs and care. Desired accountability is offered. To other NGOs, governments of developing nations, agencies in the private sector, required managerial and technical assistance as well as training is provided.
Mission Education is a national level programme of First Life Trust which provides basic , education and healthcare to underprivileged children.
First Life Trust believes that whether you are addressing healthcare, poverty, population control, unemployment or human rights, there's no better place to start than in the corridors of educationEducation is both the means as well as the end to a better life; means, because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one's awareness on a range of issues – from healthcare to appropriate social behaviour to understanding one's rights, and in the process evolve as a better citizen.
Children are the future of a nation. For an emerging and developing country like India, development of underprivileged children holds the key to the progress of the nation itself.
First Life Trust believes that there is no instant solution for children who have been denied their right to education. However, we are charged with the imperative that there is no higher priority, no mission more important than that of education
